Similar technologies (web beacons, pixels, local storage, session storage) work comparably and are covered by this policy.
2. Who Sets Cookies
NRED Intelligent Mining ("NRED") is the data controller for cookies set directly by the Platform. Cookies are set by two parties:
- NRED (first-party) — set by us to make the Platform function correctly.
- Third-party providers — set by our analytics provider (Google LLC) and payment processor (Stripe, Inc.) in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for services you have requested. They are active from your first visit and do not require your consent.

3.2 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform. Data is used in aggregated and pseudonymised form via Google Analytics 4. These cookies do not activate until you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner.

3.3 Product research cookies (Hotjar)
We use Hotjar (site ID 6712218) for heatmaps and anonymised session replay to understand how the page is laid out and where people get stuck. Hotjar masks form input by default and we do not record keystrokes. Hotjar cookies are only loaded after you accept analytics on the consent banner.

4. Cookies We Do Not Use
- Cookies for cross-site behavioural tracking or third-party advertising targeting
- Cookies to collect sensitive personal information (health, precise geolocation, financial data)

5. Consent and Managing Your Preferences
5.1 First visit — consent banner
When you first visit the Platform, a cookie consent banner appears. If you take no action, only strictly necessary cookies will be active. The banner allows you to accept all cookies, accept essential only, or manage preferences individually.
5.2 Cookie preference centre
A persistent cookie preference centre is accessible from the Platform footer at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
5.3 Consent duration
Your preferences are saved for 12 months. When they expire, the consent banner will reappear and non-essential cookies will be paused until you re-confirm.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The Platform does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals, as there is no legally recognised standard. Where Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals have legal effect under applicable law, the Platform treats a GPC signal as an opt-out of analytics cookies and disables them automatically.
7. International Data Transfers
Google LLC and Stripe, Inc. are based in the United States. Personal data processed by these providers may be transferred to the US in accordance with their own privacy policies. Analytics data is only transferred to Google if you have accepted analytics cookies. For EU/EEA users, appropriate GDPR safeguards apply — details available by contacting info@nred.ai.
8. Minimum Age
NRED Intelligent Mining is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Contact info@nred.ai if you believe a minor has provided information and we will delete it promptly.
9. Canadian Privacy Rights
Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you (including cookie-derived data), request correction of inaccuracies, and withdraw consent. Contact info@nred.ai to exercise these rights.
10. EU/EEA Users — GDPR
If you are in the EU or EEA, the GDPR applies. Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of technical necessity. Analytics cookies are based on your express consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to object to certain processing. 11. California and US State Privacy Rights
NRED does not sell your personal information. Analytics cookies are deployed only with your consent. Where the Platform receives a GPC signal, it treats this as an opt-out of analytics cookies. To exercise any US privacy right regarding cookie-derived data, contact info@nred.ai with the subject line "US Privacy Request — [Your State]".
12. Changes to This Policy
We will update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use. Material changes will be communicated via the consent banner or a Platform notice.
